Luis Rodriguez joined the Get Moving! Basketball program in April 2024, and from the start, he displayed a quiet determination and a genuine love for the game. Coach Brian recalls that Luis was initially quite shy, but his passion for basketball was undeniable.

Over the past year, Luis has truly blossomed. He arrives each week eager to learn, improve, and give his best. His confidence has grown, and he's developed into a strong leader on the court.

Kennedy has been in Prodigy for over 5 years. Kennedy has become a very positive role model for the other girls in our Prodigy class. Kennedy is now an ambassador for Prodigy. The life skills and the willingness to listen, I think, is what made Kennedy as well as the other youth find some peace within themselves. They learn it’s okay to get upset; however, it’s how we react to the situation. Kennedy is sharing what she has learned with the other girls.
