About: In the vibrant tapestry of 2020, the Hope sculpture emerged as a beacon of resilience and optimism. Following the creation of the Love sculpture, the community unanimously decided that the next artistic endeavor should embody the essence of “Hope.” Generously funded by the Florida Blue Foundation, this sculpture transcends traditional artistry.

What makes the Hope sculpture truly extraordinary is its heart, quite literally. Within its core lies a treasure trove of written letters of hope from individuals across the globe. In response to a call from University Area CDC, social media followers poured in messages, crafting a mosaic of hope. These heartfelt letters, sealed within a capsule, are safeguarded with a plastic seal, rendering them waterproof. The Hope sculpture thus becomes a sanctuary, preserving the whispered aspirations and collective hopes of people worldwide
