UACDC is committed to making the University Area community stronger by partnering with local residents on mutually beneficial goals, bringing about environmental and behavioral changes by working collaboratively with residents to address issues affecting the well-being of those people. The UACDC serves adults and children and offers a variety of programs that meet community-identified needs such as exercise, food, and educational programming.
Block-by-Block Model
A community development initiative that identifies neighborhood blocks in need of support and conduct needs assessments within that particular block.

Designed to help reduce crime and improve perceptions of safety based on sound research and community and resident engagement.
